What is ātma?

Atma (from the Sanskrit ātman) is a fundamental term in Hindu philosophy that means "the Self," "soul," or "true essence." It represents the eternal and incorporeal self of each person, beyond the body, mind, and ego. It is that divine, pure, and imperishable spark that dwells within us.

At Atma, our purpose is to help you reconnect with your essence. Throughout life, we accumulate emotional blocks, limiting beliefs, and tensions that distance us from our natural state of balance, harmony, and well-being. Through our sessions, we create a space where you can let go, release, and return to yourself.

Sound massage with therapeutic bowls uses deep vibrations and frequencies that act directly on the body and nervous system, facilitating the release of stagnant emotions and promoting a state of calm and expansion of consciousness.

Acupuncture complements this process, helping the body regain its natural balance, especially at the level of the nervous system. In situations of stress, anxiety, or overload, the body remains in a constant state of alert, which can manifest as muscle tension, difficulty resting, or an overactive mind.

By gently stimulating specific points on the body, acupuncture sends signals that invite the nervous system to move from a state of alertness to one of relaxation and repair. It is, essentially, a reminder to the body how to return to a state of calm.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this process is understood as the harmonization of the flow of Qi (vital energy) through the meridians. When this flow is blocked, physical and emotional imbalances can arise. Acupuncture helps to unblock and restore this natural movement.

From a more contemporary perspective, it has also been observed that acupuncture can promote the release of endorphins, reduce stress, and support the regulation of key bodily functions.

Tibetan singing bowls, for their part, generate an enveloping sound field that is not only heard but also felt in the body as a subtle vibration. This experience facilitates deep relaxation and a sense of holistic harmony on a physical, mental, emotional, and energetic level.

The combination of acupuncture and sound creates a unique therapeutic space, where the nervous system can release, rest and regenerate, allowing you to return to your center with greater clarity, calm and well-being.

who
Sabrina Florida

Hello! I'm Sabrina Florida, a sound therapist.

I am certified in quartz crystal bowls by Atlantis Crystal Bowls Europe and in therapeutic Tibetan bowls and gong by the Peter Hess Institute, Germany.

I have always felt a deep connection to music and its impact on us emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This fascination led me to discover the power of vibration and frequencies as a therapeutic tool to relax the nervous system and support transformative processes.

Let me tell you a little about my journey…

I studied Communication at the Ibero-American University in Mexico City and worked in advertising for several years. Eventually, I felt the need to change course, start my own business, and find a more meaningful life.

Motherhood marked a turning point in my life. It was there that a profound journey of personal growth began, leading me to train for years as a coach at the Institute of Responsible Parenthood and Education, and to explore different tools for support and healing.

I have trained in Bach Flowers, Hebrew Pendulum and Inner Alchemy with Mediterranean Flower Essences; in ThetaHealing® at the THINK Institute of Vianna Stibal; in Andean Mysticism with Rimayni; and for several years in shamanism with a Mexican master.

Later, I studied Reflexology in Italy, and in Madrid I completed a Master's degree in Holistic Psychology. It was also here that I deepened my work with sound, becoming certified in quartz crystal bowls and later in therapeutic Tibetan singing bowls and gongs.

Currently, I am a travel advisor at Cartografía Travel Boutique, where I lead the wellness area, designing and creating experiences, wellness retreats and activations focused on holistic care.

Simultaneously, I continue my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and moxibustion, at Jason Smith's school in Madrid. Within this broad approach, I specialize in supporting processes aimed at relaxing the nervous system and restoring the body to its natural state of balance.

I am deeply grateful for all the tools that help us navigate life in a more conscious and loving way.

Sharing them is, for me, a true purpose.

My intention is to accompany you in reconnecting with yourself, with your calm, your balance… and with your own healing capacity.
